Frame:UT Orange Mat Mahogany Finish Frame Regular Glass,Size: 32" x 26"

Bio Information: Born September, 1958 in West Memphis, Arkansas. Currently residing in Murfreesboro, TN. Jeff Jamison is a masterful painter who believes that the only thing standing between himself and a masterpiece is his own hands, and, in my opinion, he errs on the side of “masterpiece” crazy often! I love the painterly brush strokes and the expert smooth blending, combined with the stark shapes and textured areas.

Artist: Alfred Bricher
Medium: Photo Offset Lithograph
Frame: Double Matted In Light Tan And Dark Gold Distressed Maple Frame w/Non Glare Glass,Size:25" x 33"

Bio Information: During a fifty-year career, Bricher made a comfortable living from his work but was rarely praised by critics. Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, he grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and by 1851 was working in Boston. He became a professional painter in 1858, after meeting Charles Temple Dix and William Stanley Haseltine while sketching at Mount Desert, Maine. The following year he had his own studio in Newburyport. During the 1860s, Bricher made pictures for L. Prang and Company's print catalogue; like many New England artists of this period, he sought to bring his work before a wider public. In 1868 he married and moved his studio to New York, but over the next decades spent a great deal of time traveling, primarily sketching seascapes up and down the Atlantic coast. Most of his summer trips were to the New England states. On these trips he made landscape studies that were later transformed into oils and luminous watercolors. He was particularly impressed with Grand Manan Island off the Maine coast in the Bay of Fundy, whose rugged cliffs and surrounding sea he drew and painted for seventeen years.

183 American Bald Eagle -

Artist: Gene Gray
Medium:Photo Offset Lithograph Signed
Frame: 3 1/2" Linen Mat light Blue Lining Rustic Gray Brown Frame,Size: 33" x 30"

Bio Information: Late in 1965, I was in the Florida everglades with a game warden, tracking wild turkeys to make preliminary sketches for a planned painting. In the course of our tracking in a circle, we would cross a dirt road: one afternoon I noticed that between our first set of footprints and those we had just made going across the road there was another set of prints - distinctly those of a cougar. We continued after the turkeys, but I couldn't forget the cougar.....next time we crossed the road, I went back, and sure enough there was another line of cougar prints - it was stalking us. Given the choice between sketching a flock of turkeys or one of the most magnificent of the North American cats, I unhesitatingly chose to try to sketch and later paint the cougar! - Thus begins wildlife artist Gene Gray's explanation of the history of his painting of the cougar, known on many parts of the United States as the mountain lion. Dozens of preliminary sketches actually drawn in the everglades enabled Gray to later recreate this gracefully sleek cougar, crouched in a live oak tree, its every muscle ready for action should its favorite prey, the Florida white -tailed deer, appear.
